The Greatest Showman (PG)
New to theaters, The Greatest Showman has impacted audiences everywhere. Based off of a true story, this film tells the exciting story of how the Barnum and Bailey Circus came to be and how the imagination of a young boy living in poverty could create a reputation that would last for decades. The film includes music and dance numbers that are sure to stick in your head for days. If you haven’t seen this film yet, be sure to go see it before it’s out of theaters!
The Post (PG-13)
Starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, this new drama tells the story of how The Washington Post must race against the New York Times to be the first to uncover long-hidden government secrets. In this film, two members of The Washington Post must work together and risk their careers in order to bring these secrets back into the light. With an incredible cast, this movie has been nominated for many awards already and is sure to make any viewer appreciate what goes on in our government beyond the eye of the public.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (PG-13)
Released in late December, this new adaptation of the old film Jumanji has audiences loving every second of it. With a star cast including Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black, this action film portrays four teenagers who find an old game console and are suddenly thrust into the world of Jumanji as their avatars. They discover the secrets and dangers of the mysterious world as they race against the clock to escape the game before they are trapped there forever. If you haven’t seen this movie yet, it is a great film that will keep you laughing and engaged the whole time!
