Happy Death Day (PG – 13)

This new thriller movie has a similar premise to the “Groundhog Day” movie… except spookier. A young woman wakes up on her birthday only to be killed that day by a masked murder. Now, she is forced to relive that same day over and over until she finds out who the killer is. Just in time for Halloween, this thriller is sure to keep your attention!

Geostorm (PG-13)

After unpredictable natural disasters continue to harm the Earth, national governments create a satellite system that can control the weather to prevent natural disasters from occurring. When something goes wrong with the satellite, it starts acting as the enemy, creating enormous tsunamis, tornadoes, and earthquakes across the globe. In this action film, scientists race against the clock to try to stop this chaos before it destroys mankind.

Blade Runner 2049 (R)*

Ryan Gosling stars in this science fiction film as LAPD Officer K who discovers a long-buried secret that has the potential to throw the world into hectic chaos. In an attempt to prevent seemingly inevitable chaos, Officer K begins his search for a blade runner known as Rick Deckard, who has been missing for 30 years. This action-packed film is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat and, for all you Spanish 4 and AP Spanish kids out there, El Internado’s Ana de Armas (Carolina) makes an appearance in this film as well!

**The Motion Picture Association of America states that movies rated R require the parent accompaniment for children under the age of 17.
