This year, the JV and Varsity volleyball teams participated in a new 2A only conference: The South Fork Conference.  The JV team consisted of eleven freshmen and two sophomores.  With so many new girls to the team, the team did very well, finishing around the .500 mark.

The varsity team lost 6 seniors last year, making it a rebuilding year.  They played well considering the new conference is a tough with several veteran teams. The team came together throughout the season and The team had amazing leadership from the three seniors: Amy Coleman, Sydney Garrison, and Maria Rose.

“The team may not have finished with the record they wanted but they played hard, dug deep, and didn’t give up.  Success is not always measured by wins and losses but how you grow as a team, how you better your ability as a player and the sportsmanship you demonstrate on the court at all times.  Based on that, the 2017 season was a huge success!”
