Fall Recipes

Fall: /fôl/ a seasonal phenomenon of pumpkin spice everything; characterized by falling leaves, lower temperatures, and shorter days.

As fall creeps on us, fresh fall produce begins to take over our meals. Check out a few of our favorite fall desserts!

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies (sallysbakingaddiction)

  1. In a bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin until the mixture is smooth.
  2. In another bowl, toss flour, salt, baking soda cinnamon, nutmeg, allspices, and cloves together. Pour the mixture from step one into this blow and mix.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips and chill the dough for 30 minutes
  4. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  5. Roll the dough into ball and slightly flatten.
  6. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes
  7. Enjoy!

Caramel Apple Cupcakes 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a mixing bowl. Add egg whites, vanilla extract, sour cream, milk and butter and mix until smooth. Stir in chopped apples.
  3. Fill cupcake liners about 3/4 full and bake for 18 minutes
  4. Cool cupcakes
  5. To make the icing, combine butter, shortening, caramel sauce, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Add icing to cupcake and enjoy!
